Shane
McMahon opens the card up by coming out from the backstage area to a chorus of
boo's. The fans here in Chicago hate this man... but he seems to get off
on the jeers he receives from the crowd. He's accompanied by 3 time SGW
Tag Team Champions... Edge and Christian. They all get in the ring and
Shane grabs a microphone from the SGW Ring Announcer....
Shane O-Mac: Chi-Town....
just like your Bears and Bulls... you guys SUCK!!!!

Boo from the entire crowd...
Shane O-Mac: I can't
believe that I even set up coming to this miserable town... But enough
about this dump.... let's get to the matter at hand... Money INC.... a few
weeks ago you crossed the New Era, and for a smart business man like yourself
Ted, that was the dumbest mistake you have ever made...
Surprisingly... the crowd pops for Money INC...
Shane O-Mac: Dibiase,
Johnny the Bull, and Val Venis.... I want you three bozo's to get your ass out
here right now. This McMahon is going to lay things out for ya... right in
the middle of the ring. So you three bums... get out here
now....
Money
INC walks out w/ the lovely Miss Hancock and they are all dressed in their
normal ring attire. Ted is carrying a metal briefcase w/ him. Shane
is taunting Money INC while they try and get in the ring, but that stops once
Val and Johnny slide in the ring. Edge and Christian step in between them,
and before things get too out of hand... Miss Hancock.. "pulls" Val and Johnny
back.... She then walks over to Mr. Dibiase and hands him his own
Microphone....
Ted Dibiase: Shane.... for the last few weeks, you have
been playing into my trap perfectly....
Shane O-Mac: Oh yeah...
how's that?
Ted Dibiase: Well, you have been so worried at keeping tabs
on what Money INC has been doing here in the SGW, that you have been neglecting
your front office duties.
Shane O-Mac: What's your
point money bags...
Ted Dibiase: Ha...Ha...Ha... Shane... you have been
neglecting your duties, but I have not. I instructed my lawyers to make
another huge purchase for Money INC. But this time... it's not a new
building, not a fleet of cars, not a yacht, or even a new SGW Superstar to join
Money INC. I bought something even bigger...
Shane O-Mac: Get to your
point Ted....
Ted Dibiase: Shane... I want you to read
this....
Ted
pulls out a contract from his briefcase and hands it to Shane. Shane reads
it and has a absolutely Shocked look on his face...
Shane O-Mac: Oh My God...
you have got to be kidding me....
Ted Dibiase: No Shane... I'm not... While you were
busy kissing the ass of that big retard the Big Nasty, I was busy buying the SGW
from underneath your nose....
HUGE
CROWD POP.....
Ted Dibiase: And Shane... as my first order of business of
the new CEO of the SGW.... your ass is fired... get out of my
ring...
Edge
and Christian are stunned. Shane takes a swing at Dibiase, but misses and
Dibiase catches him and throws on the Million Dollar Dream. Edge and
Christian look to step in... but with Shane having no power, they just back
away. Ted bereaks the hold after only a few seconds...
Ted Dibiase: Val, him out of my ring....
Val
Venis nods and helps Shane to his feet and then throws him out of the ring over
the top rope... the fans pop huge at this....
Ted Dibiase: Now, as far as you two go... I have two things
to say to you. Both of you still have your jobs here, but don't push
it. Because just like we did with Shane, we'll dump you out of this
company so fast your head will spin. And the other thing is... let this be
a lesson to all the SGW superstars in the back... when you cross this boss...
you don't get to mess with me... you mess with these two...
Johnny and Val attack Edge and Christian and the 4 just brawl until Ted
takes his metal briefcase and clobbers Edge in the back with it. Edge
turns towards Dibiase and takes his back off Val Venis and Val nails him with a
blue thunder power bomb. Johnny knocks Christian out of the ring, and he
circles the ring to pull Edge out. The fans pop huge for this new
announcement.
Ted Dibiase: Oh... but wait... there is more. Next
Sunday I am announcing that there will be something so shocking, so mysterious,
something so grand that only the SGW could have it take place. Next Sunday
is WRESTLEBRAWL, and the return of the Lethal Lottery....
HUGE
CROWD POP!
Ted Dibiase: And the night will be capped off with a
contest that will measure the true skill, endurance, and courage of somebody in
this federation. And the winner of that match will have a spot in the best
stable in the SGW, Money INC.... Ha...HA....HA.
Huge
crowd pop once again as Money INC exits the ring and walks towards the
back.....
Match Participants: Mr. Perfect vs. Chris Jericho
Match Stipulations: none
Both men start off the match
by locking up and Mr. Perfect gains the advantage w/ a go-behind and takes
Jericho down. Doesn't last long though, because Jericho gets back to
his feet and whips Perfect into the ropes and tries for a closeline, and
Perfect ducks it and comes off the opposite ropes and nails Jericho w/ a
running drop kick that almost takes Jericho's head off. Hennig tries
for the cover and only gets a 2 count. Perfect pick up Jericho, and
gets a thumb to the eye from Jericho and even with that cheap shot,
Jericho still can't get advantage because Perfect blocks Jericho's punch
attempt and nails him with one of his own. This happens about 3 or 4
times until Jericho finally goes down. perfect sets himself up
behind Jericho and nails him with a neck snap. Perfect picks up
Jericho and shots out to the crowd... "NOW IT'S TIME FOR A PERFECT
PLEX!" He nails Jericho w/ the perfect-plex and gets the
1...2...3... count for the pin.

As Mr. Perfect and Bobby Heenan
leave the ring area, they are greeted by SGW backstage reporter... the
lovely... Miss Pamela Paulshock....
Pamela:
Mr. Perfect, that was a tremendous match you just had with Chris Jericho.
I was just wondering if that match you just had was going to be like anything
you think you will encounter next Sunday at Wrestlebrawl...
Mr.
Perfect: Pamela, what you just witnessed was perfection
personified. Not one flaw, not one regret, and proof that I am...
Absolutely Perfect....
Pamela:
What about your prior ties to Money INC. I mean being that you were a
member, but you seemed to have left them when you came back to active wrestling,
do you think they will welcome you back once again in open arms?
Bobby Heenan:
Listen you floozy... We helped Ted make that company, and I
guarantee you that there is no ill will towards them. But if Johnny or Val
get in Curt's way, rest assured....
Mr.
Perfect: Nobody beats Mr. Perfect..... NOBODY!
Pamela:
Thanks guys... lets get back up to the ring....
Match Participants: The Big Bossman vs. Kurt Angle
Match Stipulations: none
Angle and the Bossman come out
to minimal pops from the crowd. They don't seem to favor either one
of these individuals very much. Bossman gets the small advantage by
slamming Kurt Angle to the mat, not once... not twice... but three
times. After the third time, Angle finally stays down. Boss
man then goes for a splash, but Angle slides out of the way and the
Bossman tastes nothing but canvas. Angle right away goes for the
ankle-lock, but Bossman has enough sense to make it to the ropes and calls
for the break. Bossman gets up and Angle goes for the Olympic Slam,
but Bossman shows his agility and gets out of it. He kicks Angle in
the gut, and throws him to the ropes and Bossman catches him with the
sidewalk slam. He covers him up...1...2... Angle kicks out.
Boss Man starts jawing with the ref about the slow count and Angle slips
in behind him and trips him up and locks on the ankle lock and Bossman
screams like a little girl. Bossman taps out and then the ref calls
for he bell.... Angel doesn't let it go right away... and the ref gives
him a 5 count to break the hold or he's going to DQ angle... Once the ref
gets to 4... Angle breaks the hold.

In the backstage area... we see Val
Venis, Johnny the Bull and Ted Dibiase standing by the catering table discussing
a few things. Johnny the Bull is looking over the selection of food while
Val and Ted are having a conversation... let's listen in....
Ted Dibiase:
Val, I have a surprise for you tonight.
Val
Venis: HA... HA... HA... (sneering....) Ted... you know how I love
surprises....
Ted
Dibiase: I know Val.... but this one is huge. I would like it if
you would hand over the SGW Television Title...
Val looks a little stunned and
doesn't know what quite to expect...
Val Venis:
Ted... what are you trying to get at? I worked my ass off at
getting this title.
Ted
Dibiase: Val... if anybody knows that, it's me. Trust
me. For all your hard work.... you are in need of an upgrade...
Johnny....
Both look at Johnny and he's
stuffing his face full of food....
Ted
Dibiase: Johnny???
Johnny spits out the
food....
Johnny the
Bull: Sorry yous guys... Vals... Moneybags and me, we was talkin
and bein dat I'm da SGW Champion, dat yous woud make a great SGW US
champion....
Val
Venis: You got to be kidding me....
Johnny takes off the SGW US Title
and hands it over to Val Venis....
Val Venis:
Johnny, thanks....
Johnny the
Bull: Fogettabouit.....
Johnny and Val shake hands and the
scene fades to commercial.
Match Participants: Sting vs. Marc Mero w/ Rena
Mero
Match Stipulations: none
Sting comes out in a fit of
fury and goes right after Mero. The crowd is 100% behind Sting as
Rena can do nothing but watch as her man gets dropped w/ the scorpion
death drop and Sting gets the 1..2...3... After the match, Sting's partner
Kevin Nash comes out and they both start taking it to Mero. They
beat him back and forth up the aisle and they take him to the
back....
Winner of the
Match: Sting
It looks as if Sting and Kevin Nash
aren't done with the beat down they just gave Marc Mero... They are
destroying him in the backstage area, and anytime a referee tries to break it
up, they are met with the same fate. Finally Kevin Nash picks up Mero and
drives him through a table and Mero's out cold. Rena rushes to see if he's
OK, and Sting grabs her by the hair and hooks her... in the Scorpion Death
Drop. She's out cold as well. They place her limp body across
Mero's..... Pamela Paulshock was standing by waiting to get a few words
with Sting and Nash when this all goes down, and she is frightened for her life
when the duo walks up to her....
Pamela:
Ummmm... guys... can I get a few....
Sting interrupts
her....
Sting: No you can't...
superstars of the SGW know this... you are either part of the
pack....
Kevin Nash: Or you get hunted
by the Pack.... At Wrestlebrawl, you are either beside us or against
us.... it's your funeral.
They just walk away and Pamela is
stunned at their comments. She walks away as the EMT's rush to the Mero's
sides.
Match Participants: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. "Diamond" Dallas

Match Stipulations: none
Stone Cold and DDP lock up and
both men look to be primed up for this match. Austin gains the quick
advantage after DDP whips him off the ropes and he comes off and nails DDP
with the Lou Thez Press. Austin just keeps hammering away until the
ref pulls him off of DDP. DDP slips to the outside to re-gain his
composure and Austin follows. Kimberly is helping her husband
and she sees Austin charging, but instead of moving out of the way, she
push's her husband out of the way and Kimberly takes the brunt of Austin's
attack. Austin can't believe it. HE checks on her, and DDP
re-gains his senses and sees the aftermath and unloads. HE nails
Austin with a large number of shots to the head and throws him into the
ring post. Austin gets cut open as DDP slides him back into the
ring. DDP sets him up for another round of punches and
finish's him off with a discus lariat to knock Austin off his feet.
DDP's got the crowd jacked up. DDP picks Austin up in a fireman's
carry and nails him with the DIAMOND CUTTER.... 1...2....3.... DDP
wins. EH exits the ring and checks on his fallen wife. By the
time the match is over, she's already regained most of her
sences.

Backstage we are in the office of
Ted Dibiase, the SGW's new owner. It's very lavish and very sheik.
Val Venis is sitting there admiring his new SGW United States
Championship. All of the sudden. Miss Hancock runs in and she's covered in
blood....
Val
Venis: What in the hell is going on????
Miss
Hancock: It's... it's.... Johnny... he's been
hurt....
Ted
Dibiase: What... where is he....
She turns and runs out the door and
less than 100 yards away we see Johnny the Bull laying on the floor
unconscious... he's bleeding pretty bad from his head. It looks as if he
was sliced open with something. Ted runs to get the medics as Val tries to
revive Johnny....
Val Venis:
Johnny... man wake up...
Johnny slowly starts moving, but Val
tells him to sit still...
Val
Venis: Johnny who did this...
Johnny the
Bull: I couldn't tell.... came.. came out of
nowhere...
Ted comes running up w/ the EMT's
who have just gotten back from taking Mero to the Hospital. They are all
checking on Johnny when Vince Russo walks up....
Vince Russo:
Oh did the big bad pizan fall down and go splat?
Val lunges for Russo, but Dibiase
cuts him off....
Ted Dibiase:
Russo get out of my sight....
Vince
Russo: Val, I'll see you later tonight, when you are left solo to
fight my boy Jeff and his partner Edge....
Ted
Dibiase: Russo, give your boy this message, Val won't be solo....
I'm going to be in the ring with him.
Russo just laughs as he walks away
and they go back to checking on Johnny...
Match Participants: Zoo Crew vs. The FBI w/ Tony Mamaluke vs. Rhyno
and Shane Douglas w/ Francine
Match Stipulations: SGW Tag Team Title Match
The Zoo Crew, Franchised Crew,
and the FBI all make their way to the ring as Little Guido and Albert
start off in the ring. Guido uses his speed to work over Albert a
little bit with a drop kick to the leg. The first time Albert
doesn't go down, but after the second, Albert falls to one knee.
Guido thinks he's a big time man now and gets in Albert's face now that he
can look eye to eye with him. And after Guido gets done flapping,
Albert takes a swing and drops Guido to the mat. Guido back up and
tags in his partner and here comes big Sal. Albert and Sal get chest
to chest and start jawing and they go for a test of strength. Both
men go at it for a minute or two with neither one getting a advantage
until Shane Douglas and Rhyno attack and take the two big men down.
That brings in Scotty and Guido and we have a 6 man brawl going on and
already the ref has lost control. Scotty and Guido fight to the
outside while Rhyno and Douglas work over the two big men.
Douglas nails Albert with a DDT, and Rhyno nails Sal w/ a running jumping
closeline to send him to the outside. Douglas helps up Albert... and
GORE! Rhyno nails him as Douglas gets out of the way. The ref
finally regains some control and sends Douglas and Rhyno to the ring
apron. Sal gets back in... and walks up to Rhyno.... and looks to
tag him in, but he does. He turns his head and laughs and as he's
going... Douglas tags himself in by slapping Sal on the back. The
ref makes Sal get out of the ring while Douglas goes to work over
Albert. Douglas throws him back into his corner and starts laying in
the boots to him, and tags in Rhyno and Rhyno and Douglas both start
laying the boots into him. The ref makes Douglas leave and Rhyno
whips him into the opposite corner and looks to nail him with another
GORE!, but Albert moves and Rhyno nails himself on the ring post.
Albert makes his way to his partner.. and Tags in Scotty for the hot
tag. Scotty comes in and face plants Rhyno... Douglas tries to come
in and is met with a drop kick sending the SGW Extreme Champion to the
outside. Scotty gets back up and Guido and Sal both get knocked out
the same way... Scotty 2 Hottie is on fire. He gets Rhyno up and
DDT's him around the ropes. He's setting him up for the
WORM!!!! W...O...R...M..... woosh.. woosh... Sal has Scotty by the
back of the neck... OMG... he just planted him with a reverse
chokeslam!!!! The ref gets Sal out of the ring, an both Rhyno and
Scotty are out. Douglas and Albert are both itching for the hot
tag.... Rhyno gets up... but doesn't know where he's going and he
tags in Albert.... Now it's Albert and Scotty... the two partners in
the ring.... Albert goes to his pal and actually throws him towards
the corner of Little Guido and Sal. Sal tags himself in and he
charges at him. Albert picks him up... Baldo-Bomb... 1....2....
Guido kicks him in the head to break the count and Albert gets up.
Albert is fuming... Guido is in the corner looking to fight for his
life... and then as Albert gets close... he just stands there and points
to Albert back.... Sal has gotten up and grabbed the neck of Albert,
turns him around and Chokeslams him to the mat. He tags in Guido and
then goes after Douglas and Rhyno knocking them both to the floor.
Guido climbs the top rope and comes off with a top rope leg drop. He
covers Albert... 1....2.....3..... We have new SGW Tag Team
Champions..... The FBI are the new Champions. Sal gets back in
the ring and he lifts Guido and puts him on his shoulders. Sal
starts kicking Albert w/ Guido on him... and then out runs K-Kwick and as
Sal and Guido have their backs to them... K-Kwick climbs the top rope and
drop kicks Guido off Sal's Shoulders... and he helps up Albert as Scotty
gets back in the ring as well.
