The four team mini-tournament that preceded the title match included the Hixx Family (Latoya & Deena) and the Queens of Chaos (Jessi Ozborne & Sanada).

Due to controversy surrounding the origin of the Dual Wield Galaxy Championship, Satoshi Kato ordered the titles rebranded. On 8/26/23, the HEARTKILLERS defeated Elizabeth Jones & Kanna to earn the newly rebranded Twinstar Championships.
