THE HISTORY
OF THE LoC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 9/17/2005 - 11/5/2005
League of Champions was founded in
September of 2005 by Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat (Scott Smith). Thought it only
survived for a couple of months, it was the most prominent company of its time
and was the site of one of the most historically significant events in the
history of the business. It was in a League of Champions ring that Jeff Jarrett
(Josh Smith) unified the League of Champions, New Era Wrestling, and Solid Gold
Wrestling World Heavyweight Championships, merging them into one singular entity
for the first and only time in history.
