THE HISTORY
OF THE SGW ELEVATION CHAMPIONSHIP 11/30/2019 - 9/5/2020 The SGW Elevation Championship is a new, original concept in professional wrestling. The championship is contested under standard professional wrestling rules but if the reigning champion successfully defends the title three times, the championship is vacated and cashed in for an opportunity at the SGW World Heavyweight Championship. Upon the belt being vacated, a new Elevation Champion will be crowned and the cycle will begin again. Updated Rules as of 6/13/2020 - It was determined by the Championship Committee that the Elevation Championship would switch divisions, back and forth between Men's and Women's, upon the completion of each "Elevation Cycle" (three successful defenses). |
