SGW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

The SGW World Heavyweight Championship was established on September 29th, 1999. In 2006, Solid Gold Wrestling began to "buy out" rival promotions and unified their top championships with its own. By the time SGW ceased operation in September of 2006, seven rival championships had become one with the SGW World Heavyweight Championship. The eight side plates on the new SGW World Championship belt represent the eight title histories that come together in order to form the most prestigious championship in the business today.
