This is the remains of the original run of Solid Gold Wrestling. Unfortunately, all of the Mike Frost, John Baron, and Sam Crust era results from before this point were lost. In a way, e-fed results were considered disposable back then and were rarely saved when an e-fed went out of business. Most people just deleted everything when they shut down because why not, I guess. By this point, Solid Gold Wrestling had already closed at least twice that I can remember. I was the owner from 11/4/01 to 1/6/02 at this time. My original run was short lived before I handed the reins back over to Mike Frost. Starting with the 1/27/2002 set of results, Mike Frost took Solid Gold Wrestling back over for about a month after I decided to return to roleplaying. There were only a handful of shows completed in his name during this run before the fed collapsed. There were a number of contributors to this cause but the main one was just his complete lack of compassion for the guys on his roster. Frost did what he wanted to do and was unapologetic. In the end, it cost him the support of his team and this would be the last time he would control Solid Gold Wrestling. Most notable during this run was the creation of the WrestleBrawl pay-per-view. |

NEW ERA WRESTLING COMING SOON I'm very proud to announce that an old nEw site was discovered on 9/14/21, which still housed a significant number of complete events. These events feature matches including Scott, Brett, Josh, Patrick, Rob, and other familiar personalities from SGW, as well as references to SGW, APW, and other notable e-feds of the time. These episodes of nEw Showtime will be uploaded as time allows. New Era Wrestling was created by Jason King and Mike Frost, then later continued exclusively by Jason King. |

ACTION! WRESTLING
ENTERTAINMENT COMING SOON Action! Wrestling Entertainment was created by Simon Omant. Shortly before its demise, Simon was joined by Jason King. Action! Wrestling Entertainment featured several SGW alumni in key roles, including Matt Emerson's Taz, who was the longest reigning world champion in the company's history. Matt's world title run in AWE is considered his greatest achievement during his time in fedding. Unfortunately, not much remains of AWE except for a couple sets of results and an old roster page, which will all soon be featured here in this space. |

This is considered the "lost" version of Solid Gold Wrestling or SGWx. There were at least two attempts made by me to either reboot Solid Gold Wrestling or use it to springboard a "sister" promotion. In my time, I've seen both New Era Wrestling and League of Champions successfully rise up from the ashes of SGW with former SGW talent and owners, acknowledging SGW's history and intertwining it with their own. I tried the same with Platinum Pro and it never had its first show. Years later, well after SGW '06, actually, I tried it again with Final Frontier Wrestling and that one, too, never had its first show. The only one that ever came close to succeeding was SGWx. I made a conscious decision to ignore the past title histories while maintaining the character back stories. I'm really not sure what led to the end of SGWx. The interest was there, the roster was there, and the roleplays were there... but the week of our first pay-per-view, I just packed it up and went home. |

This version of Solid Gold Wrestling was created after Scott closed his League of Champion e-fed. During that run, Jeff Jarrett had won the vacant Solid Gold Wrestling World, New Era Wrestling, and League of Champions World Heavyweight Championship. It was decided to put that little bit of history to use and thus was born SGW '06, one of the most successful yet controversial runs of SGW in its long history. It ran for several months before I had to take time off for burnout and real life issues and I just never found my way back. The entire 2006 run is collected here minus the last 3 or 4 events that were lost when the final site was shut down sometime in August or early September. |

![]() THE RETURN OF THE KINGS 11/02/2019 - 09/05/2020
When SGW '06 ended, we
moved away from e-fedding for over a decade. During this time, the
remaining SGW archives were thought to be lost in a computer crash.
In 2019, we unexpectedly returned to e-fedding. After a couple of
negative experiences, we took another break and it was during this
break that I discovered the SGW archives on a flash drive. Craig
Chalmers secured the website, Drew put the spectacular graphics
together, and we set off on a quest to run an old school e-fed "the
right way." |

![]() 04/25/2020 - 08/15/2020 SHOCK was a 500 word limit "micro-fed" that's continuity ran concurrently with Modern Era SGW. All segments written on SHOCK were provided by the roleplayers. While SHOCK maintained its own angles and continuity, the events of SHOCK are official Solid Gold Wrestling canon. With the success of Modern Era SGW, it was determined that there was room for expansion, leading to the creation of this second brand. It was named SHOCK in honor of SGW's longest running weekly show. |
